A track can have the right length and still be the wrong track for your sled.
When you’re buying a replacement, check the full specification: width, length, lug height, drive pitch and the exact application. Getting those details sorted before ordering makes the whole job easier. Here’s what we want to know when helping you choose a Camso track.
Read the track dimensions correctly
A track listed as 15 × 154 × 3 inches is 15 inches wide, 154 inches long and has 3-inch lugs. Read the labels on each listing rather than assuming every seller presents the numbers in the same order.
For examples, compare the Camso 9482M PowLifter 310: 15 × 154 × 3.1 inches with the Camso 9470M Challenger 300LX: 15 × 154 × 3 inches. The length and width are the same, but the lug design and height differ.
Match the drive pitch to your drivers
Drive pitch is the spacing between the track’s drive features. It needs to work with the drivers on your machine. Don’t treat a 3.5-inch-pitch track as a direct replacement for a 3-inch-pitch track. If you’re changing pitch, the driver setup needs to be part of the plan.
Check clearance before choosing taller lugs
Confirm the space available in your sled for the track you’re considering. Driver and suspension changes matter too. We’d rather work through the complete setup with you than recommend a track based on lug height alone.
Choose for your usual riding
Tell us where you spend most of your time: deep powder, trees, packed trails or a mix. The track design should suit the conditions you actually ride.
If you’re deciding between the two models, read our PowLifter 310 vs Challenger 300LX comparison next.
Use the Camso part number
The model name identifies the track family. The part number identifies the specific option. Include the number stamped on your existing track or shown on its packaging when you contact us. It gives us a better starting point than “I need a 154.”
Send us your sled details
